Kährs adds to maritime feel at The Quays

Kährs wood flooring has been installed throughout The Quays - a stunning new residential development set on the banks of the River Medway in Chatham, Kent. Comprising two iconic glass clad towers and a five storey wharf, the development includes studio, one and two bed apartments, and penthouses. Over 13,000 square metres of Kährs Oak and Walnut Linnea was specified and installed throughout living areas.
Formerly a naval dockyard, Chatham Maritime is now home to a 300-berth marina, with three kilometres of river walks and cycle ways. Within the maritime setting, The Quays provides stylish contemporary living, with stunning views and a range of leisure and retail facilities. Internally, all apartments have a high specification and finish, featuring Kährs eco-friendly Linnea throughout hallways, kitchens and living rooms.

Floors within Kährs Linnea range feature a 7mm multi-layered construction, for enhanced stability, and a durable prefinish; a matt lacquer option was chosen for The Quays. A 12-year guarantee is provided with all Linnea floors, which are available in a variety of widths, finishes and patterns, and in six different wood species.
