Kährs Oak Nouveau White has achieved the ‘Highly Commended’ accolade in this year’s Homebuilding & Renovating Product Excellence Awards. Celebrating innovation in the building industry, the awards showcase the very best products on offer, with judges including RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), FMB (Federation of Master Builders) and industry website, Building Talk. As part of the recognition, Kährs achievement will be announced, via graphic displays, at the Homebuilding & Renovating Shows taking place throughout the UK.
Crafted in Sweden, from sustainable European Oak, Kährs Oak Nouveau White is a one-strip wood floor. Design features include a tactile brushed surface, a bevelled edge and an easy-care, durable white matt lacquer prefinish. Like all Kährs Original floors, the product has an eco-friendly multi-layered construction, using hardwood down to the joint and fast-growing timber below. This construction, combined with Kährs glueless Woodloc® joint, provides greater stability, eliminates gapping and promotes fast installation. After many years’ wear, the floor can be sanded in the same way as a solid product, further reinforcing its eco-credentials.
Part of the Classic Nouveau Collection, Oak Nouveau White can be installed on most dry, level surfaces and is ideal for installation over underfloor heating.
