Their engineered construction mean that they can be laid easily over a range of sub floors without the complexity of solid wood floors. Fawsley floors are a perfect match for the Ashby solid oak floors with the same surface apearance and finishes.

A 5mm thick hardwood surface mounted core of 15mm waterproof Birch plywood (total thickness 20mm). Combining the 2 layers gives an extremely stable floor with the minimum of expansion / contraction. Tongue and Groove on all 4 sides, Bevel on the long sides

UNDERFLOOR HEATING

FLATS / LOFT CONVERSIONS

Solid Wood floors are not suitable for use with under floor heating. Fawsley floors overcome this problem giving all of the properties of a conventional engineered floor and still maintain the appearance of a solid wood floor.

Solid Wood floors are usually impractical in flats due to the requirement to install sound proofing materials underneath the floor. Fawsley floors overcome this problem as they can be laid directly onto a sound reducing underlay and still maintain the appearance of a solid wood floor
